Joyfully Different

Joyfully Different offers coaching, consultancy, creative support and a neurodivergent-inclusive business community for founders, freelancers and small-business owners.

Joyfully Different graphic promoting business support for unconventional, ambitious neurodivergent business owners.

If standard business advice or networking assumes a way of working that does not fit how you think, manage energy or organise your life, Joyfully Different may be useful to explore. Led by business consultant and coach Alice Reeves, it combines individual business support with an online community designed around different ways of working.

What it can help with

Joyfully Different offers routes for working through business decisions, brand and marketing, systems and workflows, and ongoing marketing or operations support. Its membership adds online co-working, live business-support sessions, workshops and a library of recordings and resources. It is business support rather than a diagnostic, clinical or therapeutic service.

Who it may suit

It may suit founders, freelancers and small-business owners who want business support that takes their working preferences and circumstances into account.

Inspiration Space note: Joyfully Different may be a particularly useful option when the problem is not a lack of ambition or ability, but a mismatch between conventional business expectations and the way someone’s mind, energy or life actually works. Its practical value lies in treating working conditions and support needs as relevant business design information — alongside marketing, planning, systems and growth.

The membership page describes the community as neurodivergent-inclusive and neuro-affirming by design, and says it is open to anyone who resonates with doing business differently. The current membership terms use narrower wording, welcoming neurodivergent business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and aspiring founders, with no formal diagnosis required. Check current eligibility before joining.

How it works

Support varies by offer. Alice Reeves provides one-to-one coaching alongside consulting and mentoring, plus branding and marketing support. Growing businesses can also commission project-based consulting or fractional CMO or COO support across marketing, operations, systems and processes. The online membership includes weekly events, co-working, group business-support sessions, workshops and resources. Workshops are recorded, while the membership page says weekly support and “unmasked” sessions are confidential and not recorded.

Cost and access

The membership currently lists Standard membership at £30 per month, Low Cost at £15 and Pay-It-Forward at £45, with the same stated access and benefits at each price; a two-week free trial is also advertised. Business coaching is currently advertised from £250 for a one-off session, £450 for packages and £300 per month for retainers. Check current prices, billing options and terms before paying.

What to check before committing

Consider which support route fits the question in front of you: membership, coaching, creative work, project consultancy or fractional leadership. Before paying, check current prices, payment frequency and cancellation terms; low-cost membership eligibility; event times, formats and recordings; accessibility requirements; and the boundary between peer community, coaching and consultancy. For project or fractional work, confirm scope, cost, duration, deliverables and who will provide the work. Check privacy and confidentiality arrangements before discussing sensitive business information. Specialist legal, tax, accounting, employment, clinical or other regulated questions may need an appropriately qualified adviser instead.
