We’re trying to make thoughtful choices about the resources we use and the work we put into the world.

Inspiration Space is a small business. Our approach is informed by Carbon Literacy training and by a simple principle: focus on what we can control and influence, then keep taking practical steps.

Where we can, we aim to:

• Avoid unnecessary travel, printing, production and waste.
• Use digital delivery when it is a good fit for the work and the people taking part.
• Reuse, repair and adapt materials, equipment and Resources rather than replace them unnecessarily.
• Choose suppliers, venues and partners with care, considering practical environmental, social and accessibility factors alongside quality, cost and suitability.
• Create Resources, sessions and events that stay useful beyond a single moment.

We know there are trade-offs. The most appropriate option is not always the one with the lowest estimated environmental impact. Accessibility, safety, affordability and the quality of participation matter too.

We do not claim to have all the answers, but we will keep learning, reviewing how we work and making improvements where we can.
